How I work
Everything under my name on this site comes from the same routine I use behind the chair: prep the nail the same way every time, apply the product exactly as the brand specifies, cure it under a lamp whose wattage I know, and then track what happens over two to three weeks of normal wear — typing, dishes, gym, showers. Product rankings are based on that wear log, not on a first-day impression. When a formula changes or a lamp is discontinued, I revise the affected page and update its “Updated” date.
I write for two readers at once: the person doing their own nails at a kitchen table with a single lamp and a single bottle, and the newer tech who wants the reasoning behind each step rather than a list of rules. If an article ever tells you something that contradicts what your product's own instructions say, follow the bottle — then tell me, so I can check whether the formula changed.
Drafting and research are done with AI assistance; every published page is edited by me for technique accuracy, and the anecdotes, wear-test numbers, and product verdicts are mine. Read the full editorial standards for how testing, affiliate links, and corrections are handled.
